The Vice-Consulate of Hungary in Houston is organizing an event to highlight innovative Hungarian companies, scheduled for October 22, 2025.
During this event, three Hungarian companies—Continest, Compocity, and Kuube—will present their products and business development strategies in Houston. They will be welcomed at The Ion innovation center in Houston, one of the city’s most important technology hubs and the centerpiece of its innovation district.
The invited Hungarian companies offer solutions highly relevant to the Houston region:
• Continest develops award-winning, modular, foldable containers ideal for quick deployment in logistics, healthcare, disaster response, event management, and urban development—sectors that are central to Houston’s economic and strategic priorities.
• Compocity offers AI-powered food waste management systems that promote a circular economy. Their technology can advance Houston’s sustainability goals, especially as a global center of energy and environmental industries where innovative solutions are in high demand.
• Kuube designs solar-powered, IoT-enabled smart benches, supporting the digital transformation and smart city initiatives of urban public spaces. Their renewable, sustainable technology aligns with Houston’s focus on green infrastructure and citywide modernization projects.
This showcase at The Ion will foster direct engagement between Hungarian innovation and U.S. stakeholders, encouraging business partnerships and promoting the global relevance of Hungary’s dynamic tech sector.
